Negative Marking Rule
INI CET follows a -1/3 negative marking scheme. For every wrong answer, one-third of a mark is deducted. This is gentler than NEET UG's -1 system, but reckless guessing is still inadvisable. Unattempted questions carry zero marks.
Image-Based Questions
Approximately 20-25% of questions in INI CET are image-based — radiology films, histopathology slides, clinical photographs, and ECG tracings. This is significantly higher than NEET PG. Preparation must include dedicated image-bank practice on platforms like Marrow or DoctubeRx.
